I took a rest Saturday and recovered.

Now I got a ride Sunday.

Going to the North at Marukobashi bridge.

Tama River is getting busy later time.

It is not easy to pass through in Fuchu city, and I had to go and stop.

Arrived in Hamura dam in 2 hours 8 minutes.

Today I got something to do and I had to return right away.

I wanted to eat a hamburger at Komazawa on the way back, but it was really crowded.
I had to go home without eating anything.

I was supposed to enjoy backcountry skiing in the Golden Week, but I came back from Hakuba due to the thin snow and the bad weather.

Entering into the cycling season.

The bike today, GIANT DEFY, is usually placed in Hakuba, but I brought it to Tokyo.
The rear derailleur was not working well, and I went to GIANT store for its repair.

It was fixed and I became able to run well.

Running along Tama river.

Mt. Fuji has some snow.

Arrived in Hamura in 2 hours 15 minutes.

It is much slower than usual.
I was supposed to be faster with this bike.
I am not able to run faster as the season has just begun.

A burger restaurant.

Usually it would not be so crowded at this time, but it is in the Golden Week.
4 parties with ten people in front of me, but I was able to be seated soon.

It was hard to finish as I don't eat too much recently.

I saw many camera men at the rail bridge of Chuo line.

They are manias for taking photos of a special train.

On the way back I stopped by Daiei HimonYa, a supermarket closing today.

I attempted to drop by a brasserie, but all bread was sold out.

I finished at 5:40 pm.

And I found my front tire flat.

I did not bring a spare.
Not sure I was lucky or unlucky.

It was raining heavily in the morning but it stopped by noon.
I attempted to eat Soba, or buckwheat noodle in Otari village.

It would be crowded and I started late to avoid the busy time.

Arrived in 1 hour.

but it was still crowded.

I gave up.

The last time was a few years ago. Since then I tried several times and all failed.
I would have no opportunity to be seated here any more.

Going home with nothing.

Sarukura 12:38-13:08
Distance today 1.3km, climb 100m, duration 0:20, avg speed 3.4km/h

The reason I came here was to see the trail to Yari-Onsen.
I wonder there is the snow.

The junction to Yari-Onsen.

There is no snow.

The trail gets the stream with lots of water.

It is hard to walk without getting wet.

The snow seems far far away.

It looks hard to go to Yari-Onsen.

The parking lot is crowded enough.

It looks full in the morning.

On the way back I found skunk cabbages.

Ski day 59 at Happo One

Last skiing in Happo.

Season Day 59,  Powder 29 days, Backcountry 26 days, Telemark 5 days
Happo One 7:55-8:20
Gear:Pocket Rocket(Telemark)+GARMONT ENER-G

Happo One ski resort ends its service today due to the thin snow.
I rode on my bicycle to go there.

The resort has almost nothing.

Looks like the summer season.

The very beginning of Panorama course.

Almost a corridor.

I did a few runs but the lift got crowded.
The runs are not so much fun, and I decided to leave.

Breakfast at coffee Senjyu.

This is the last day in Happo.
The resort somehow managed to open until GW.
