Today I go up to Hakone. The forecast calls the hot weather. It is an insane idea to climb.
Started at 5:46.
Crossing Tama river at 6:16.
It is gonna be a hot day.
Arrived at Enoshima at 8:25.
2 hours and half.
The restaurant I tried last week.
I did not tend to cue, but I never come this place again as this long cue just after the restaurant is open.
Crossing Sagami river at 8:53.
Came to Ninomiya in the good pace.
Hakone mountains comes into my sight.
This view makes me nervous that I have to go up there.
Hakone Yumoto at 10:19.
Fujiya hotel at 11:03.
Today it is really hot. I took some breaks during climbing.
At the highest point of the route at 12:04.
Finally arrived at Moto Hakone at 12:21, as my final destination today.
Seems like the same duration as the last time.
A pirate ship comes.
The air is cool and it is a shame to leave, but I have to go for the long long return.
At the highest point again, at 1pm.
I don't wanna climb any more.
How wonderful to descend.
At Oiso station at 2:56 pm.
I rode in a good pace, but I found the front tire getting flat in R134.
I pumped up, but the tire still gets flat.
I had to change the tube.
I am not good at handling tools and got some trouble. I lost an hour.
At Enoshima at 4:33 pm.
I have never been at such late time.
Yokohama station at 6:16 pm.
I could run in a good pace, but I came home at 7:25 pm, an hour late.
It gets dark.
Beach ride and hopping temples and shrines.
Day 14, 168 days for cycling, total distance 12,312.8km, total climb 168,215m

Today I try riding to Enoshoma again, where I attempted yesterday.
I want to go to a restaurant in Enoshima. The place should be busy, and I had to leave at 5:30am.
It will be another hot day.
Marukobashi bridge for my westbound.
2 hours and 40 minutes I arrived at Samukawa shrine.
Crossing Sagami river.
The water is brown after rainy days.
3 hours 15 minutes I reached to R134, a route along the beach.
Crossing Sagami river again.
The route had heavy traffic,
due to a town festival.
I walked down to the beach.
And Eboshiiwa rock.
Then finally I arrived at the restaurant for my breakfast, but
the cue was this long. It is still 9:30am!
I missed breakfast.
The beautiful ocean view makes me better.
The other purpose for this ride was to return good luck charms.
In Japanese tradition we carry charms for good luck and the charms are supposed to be returned to the shrine or the temples where we got.
When I cleaned up my house and I found very old charms to be returned. The returning places are four.
The first place was Hasedera temple.
The second place was Tsuruoka Hachimangu shrine.
The route reminds me a nice restaurant of beef stew.
This restaurant is also usually crowded but I found no one was in the cue when I stopped by.
My late breakfast.
I really enjoyed the meal, and started running again.
Today I ran on R15, instead of R1 that I usually run.
After the long riding I arrived at Kawasaki Daishi temple.
It's 2 o'clock. The hottest time.
The returning-charms-tour looks like a religious training.
Crossing Tama river.
Tachiaigawa river. I can go home if I turn here,
but there is the one place left to go.
At 3:30pm I arrived at the final place, Koyasan temple in Shirokane.
Now I completed my mission today.
Finished my tour at 4pm.
It was really a hot day.

Today I wanted to go to Enoshima, but the rain was expected in the morning.
Then I woke up late and changed the destination to Hamura.
Started at 8:24. The nice blue sky appears. Looks like a hot day.
Turning to Tama river.
There was a hand-made rafting event.
It is hot, but the sky is blue, the view is nice.
I saw Mt. Fuji far across the river. It's been a long time since I saw last time.
I arrived at Hamura dam in 2 hours 20 minutes.
Usually I return but I found a spicy curry restaurant.
I tried the super spicy menu. It tastes good but not so spicy than I expected.
I wanted to ride on the bike with sweating a lot.
Just returning on the way back.
Hard time to conquer the hypothermia.
I bought cakes at a patisserie in my neighborhood.
