A beautiful morning at Renge Onsen.

Today we go to Mt. Asahi. Looks nice weather, but it was hot.

We had to cross the river. There is a bridge, but a huge gap between the bridge and the ground. We had to jump.

It is a Japanese old custom to eat Kashiwa Mochi, or a sticky rice cake with bean paste wrapped by an oak leaf on May 5th.

An Oak leaf does not fall before a new leaf grows. The rice cake wrapped by an oak leaf represents a meaning of no die out of a family tree.

Heading to Mt. Asahi.

It was windy on the ridge.

The peak of Mt. Asahi.

Mt. Tsurugi was seen over there. We saw it very close four days ago.
The scene reminds us the good days at Tateyama.

Here we go now.

The snow condition was not good. It snowed last night and got the stop snow. The wet snow slided down.

Despite of the condition we enjoyed skiing in such a wild scene.

We crossed the river again.

The guide provided us a rope to follow.

We came close to the lodge.

It became windy and the dark clouds came.

It was the full moon night. The moonlight shined my face while sleeping.
